Meet Nicholas

My name is Nicholas McHargue, and I am not a career politician. I am a 28-year-old store manager, a homeowner, and a neighbor who truly loves this community. Like many of you, I wake up every day, go to work, pay my bills, and try to build a future.

I don’t have an Ivy League pedigree, and I don’t owe favors to big donors. Instead, I offer real-world experience. I have managed various businesses over the years; while some might overlook that work, anyone with retail experience knows the truth: managing a store is like running a local economy.

I am running for this seat because I believe our local government needs fewer consultants and more citizens who actually understand the cost of living here. When I look around our community, I see potential, but I also see everyday people being ignored. I want to bring the common sense I use at my job to our local government. I will ensure our tax dollars are treated with the same respect I treat a store’s P&L statement—stretching every dollar to work for you."
